STFC opportunity profile: Taking technology to market

The Science and Technology Facilities Council’s Phil Tait talks to Penny Sarchet about the latest round of the council's Innovations Partnership Scheme.

What is the aim of the Innovations Partnership Scheme and what can researchers use the scheme to do?

It is a funding programme designed to support the transfer of technology and expertise, developed with previous STFC support at research organisations, to the marketplace. Researchers can use the scheme to collaborate with a partner to move their research outputs, skills or knowledge towards an economic or societal impact through commercialisation. That transfer is done in partnership with industry or other academic disciplines.
