Hundreds of proposals from researchers across Europe have passed through the hands of Sophie Le Grand and Claire Boulch. The pair are advisers at WelcomEurope, a French consultancy established 16 years ago to provide advice and training on European funding calls. The firm also helps research teams to structure their budgets and negotiate contracts.
