The Institute of Physics is offering up to £2,000 for projects that engage the public in physics, through lectures, events, activities, and even interpretive dance. Lindsay McKenzie spoke to Johanna Kieniewicz, head of outreach and engagement, to find out more.

The IOP has Public Engagement Grants of up to £2,000 available twice a year. The next deadline is on 14 January, but there is still time to get a proposal together if you have a good idea, so you are encouraged to engage with the team at the IOP.

There will be another call in September 2016.
