In January 2015 the Wellcome Trust launched the Seed Awards in the Humanities and Social Science, to fund small, innovative projects in these disciplines that address any aspect of health. Eloise Johnston spoke to the trust’s portfolio manager for humanities and social science Nicholas Vogelpoel.
Wellcome offers grants of up to £50,000 in its Seed Awards in the Humanities and Social Science programme. There are three application deadlines a year; the next two deadlines are 8 February 2016 and 20 June 2016.
