The Society for Theatre Research funds projects looking at British theatre from almost any angle and is also looking after a £10,000 fund for research into Australian theatre. Kate Quartano Brown, the society’s research interests coordinator, tells Anna McKie about the open calls.
The Society for Theatre Research makes annual awards for sums of between £200 and £1,000. The deadline for these awards in 2017 is 17 March 2017.
A call for applications is also open to the Paul Iles Bequest, a fund of £10,000 that is handled by the society. All applications must propose research in the area of Australian theatre. Initial declarations of interest and outline proposals should be submitted to the society by 1 June.
