UKRI's impact-enhancing scheme for digital research has returned

UK Research and Innovation’s Telling Tales of Engagement scheme opened for its 2020 competition on 7 October. As with previous rounds, the scheme offers £10,000 to researchers looking to boost the impact and engagement of projects funded under UKRI’s digital economy theme—for which the partner councils are the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, the Economic and Social Sciences Research Council and the Arts and Humanities Research Council. All applicants must show how their public engagement plans will work in the context of Covid-19. Three prizes are available. The deadline is 16 December.

Three years ago we profiled the scheme, which had already been running for six years by then, to find out what kinds of projects tend to fare well in application.
