A public health scheme where the application is meant to be done in a hurry

We follow up last week’s archive offering on the National Institute for Health Research’s Public Health Research Programme Rapid Funding Scheme—a rolling call that the Covid-19 pandemic has brought into sharp focus—with this 2019 interview with a grantee. As Benjamin Barratt, who is now based at Imperial College London, explained, applying to the scheme will be quite a frantic experience. If it is not, it is probably not the right scheme for you.
