Through its research partnerships scheme, the Australia Council helps arts researchers amplify their impact
Despite being Australia’s national body for arts funding, the Australia Council for the Arts does not have the profile among academics enjoyed by other national funders.
“I’ve given a few talks at days that have been organised by research offices, and I’ve noticed quite a lot of surprise and interest from academics who didn’t really understand that they could work in partnership with the Australia Council,” says Christen Cornell, research fellow and manager of research partnerships at the council.
