UKRI’s Future of UK Treescapes programme launches its first individual fellowships

Top tips

  • The fellowships are for researchers at all career stages, and professional development is an important element
  • They are open to researchers from outside of treescape-related research, but such applicants should demonstrate what they can contribute to the programme
  • Applicants should take a look at the projects already funded by the programme and consider any gaps they might be able to fill
  • The treescapes programme is an interdisciplinary scheme, and applications that move applicants beyond their disciplinary comfort zones are encouraged

Launched in September 2021, UK Research and Innovation’s Future of UK Treescapes programme has returned after two calls for major interdisciplinary projects, this time with a fellowship scheme.
