The Leverhulme Trust’s highly valued Research Fellowships scheme can help kickstart projects in many fields
As we approach the summer break, many researchers will be thinking about how to use time away from teaching to finally get that research idea started. For such people, the Leverhulme Trust’s Research Fellowships scheme is a perennial godsend, offering up to £65,000 to buy out teaching or administrative duties to get a research project underway. The next round opens in September with a deadline for applications of 9 November.
The scheme underwent some minor changes in 2022—which are likely to be kept in place, although this cannot be confirmed until the scheme is open and full guidance has been published—which were detailed in this rundown, published in September last year.
