Following former Labour peer Tessa Jowell’s call to action in the House of Lords in 2018 to improve brain-tumour outcomes, the Tessa Jowell Brain Cancer Mission was formed. It now carries out a range of initiatives, including running a free national training and networking platform called the Tessa Jowell Academy.
