The late climate researcher and development expert on north-south partnerships
Saleemul Huq, co-founder and then director of the International Centre for Climate Change and Development in Dhaka, Bangladesh, died on 29 October at the age of 71.
Huq was pre-eminent in his field, and had been at the forefront of climate science, international development and climate justice advocacy for at least three decades.
