Research ethics: Aftercare is essential

Researchers have a duty to ensure aftercare of participants, findings and themselves, says Helen Kara

Researchers may be keen to crack on with the next job when a project ends, but they have a duty to ensure the aftercare of participants, data, findings and themselves.

In my first article in this series I outlined the Indigenous research paradigm, which predates the Euro-western research paradigm by tens of thousands of years.
