This year is the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the EU and China. Science and technology cooperation between the regions has evolved to support many aspects of the bilateral relations. Today, with innovation at the heart of development strategies on both sides, research and innovation cooperation is a significant component in the strategic partnership—a shared interest that offers many benefits and opportunities.
