Research on public-health interventions used during humanitarian crises is to receive funding from a programme co-funded by the Department for International Development and the Wellcome Trust.
The first call in the Research for Health in Humanitarian Crises programme opens on 4 June, and four town hall events are being held internationally to mark the launch of the programme.
The Wellcome Trust in London will host the first event on 5 June, with others to follow—in New York, Delhi and Nairobi—in the following weeks.
