Think tank under fire over calls for sweeping changes to protect academic freedom

Universities should appoint academic freedom champions to investigate “complaints of political discrimination” in Britain’s universities, according to a right-leaning think tank.

A survey of more than 500 undergraduates by Policy Exchange found that just 39 per cent of students in favour of leaving the European Union would be comfortable expressing their views in class.
