Former higher education minister leaves in search of ’new opportunities’ in consulting
Bill Rammell is set to step down as vice-chancellor of the University of Bedfordshire and leave his role as chair of the MillionPlus mission group at the end of this year.
Research Professional News understands that Rammell—a higher education minister under the last Labour government—will be stepping down as chair of the modern universities group MillionPlus in December, just six months after he was appointed. Chairs of the group must also be vice-chancellors.
