Mission group picks the vice-chancellor of London South Bank University.
Dave Phoenix has been appointed as the next chairman of Million+, which represents some of UK’s newest universities.
Phoenix will take up his role in September academic year, replacing Michael Gunn, vice-chancellor of Staffordshire University. Gunn has served as chairman since 2013 and will retain a role as treasurer. Michael Driscoll, the current treasurer and a past chairman, will retire from Million+ when he steps down as vice-chancellor of Middlesex University in the autumn.
