Birmingham apologies to staff for payroll delays

The Russell Group university has admitted that some staff members were not paid on time

The University of Birmingham has apologised after some of its staff were missed off the payroll and did not receive their wages on time.

Although most staff were given their October pay packet on time, a number of employees have been left waiting for their monthly salaries. The university is making lists of people affected and running supplementary payrolls for workers who did not receive their money.
