Goldsmiths responds to ‘unacceptable’ racism on campus

London university promises to tackle racism following damning report

Goldsmiths, University of London, has pledged to address racism on its campus after a report found that more than a third of black and minority ethnic students felt excluded from university life.

Almost half of BME students had experienced racial microaggressions such as being “overpoliced” by suspicious staff, while 26 per cent said they had been subject to racism from staff and students.
