Modern universities group also calls for a return to maintenance grants in election manifesto
Candidates fighting for votes in the upcoming general election should remember that modern universities are “pivotal” for a skilled workforce, according to MillionPlus.
The modern universities group has set out its six main demands in an election manifesto that asks the next government to “respect and recognise the vital role of modern universities as pioneers of technical education and the talent pipeline for thousands of essential public sector workers.”
