Research England looks ahead to possible priorities shift

Funding body sets out how it plans to engage with higher education institutions until 2021-22

Research England has warned that its priorities for engaging with institutions “may shift” due to political change, in a report published two days before the general election.

In its Institutions Engagement Strategy paper, which was published on 10 December and sets out how Research England will work with universities over the next three years, the funding body cautioned that it may need to “respond swiftly” to events such as political change and institutions’ changing circumstances.
