Solent University appoints new vice-chancellor

Karen Stanton will take over at the Southampton institution in February

Karen Stanton has been named as the new vice-chancellor of Solent University in Southampton.

Stanton will replace Graham Baldwin, who announced in May that he was to become vice-chancellor at the University of Central Lancashire. Research professional News revealed on 10 October that Stanton was to leave her current vice-chancellorship at York St John University.
