Five days of meetings confirmed for crunch USS pension talks

Universities UK and the University and College Union to meet throughout January

Representatives from Universities UK, the University and College Union and the Universities Superannuation Scheme have confirmed that they will hold five meetings this month to discuss the valuation of the USS pension fund.

The talks will be facilitated by Joanne Segars, chair of the USS Joint Expert Panel, and attended by senior members of the organisations including Alistair Jarvis, chief executive of UUK; Jo Grady, general secretary of the UCU; and USS group chief executive Bill Galvin.
