Provide more financial support for short courses, government urged

Universities UK puts focus on courses below degree level ahead of government’s Augar response

Vice-chancellors have called for potential students to have greater access to short courses ahead of the government’s response to the Augar review.

This should include opening up financial support for students taking parts of traditional level 6 degrees as short courses or modules, UUK said. It also called for improved recognition of such components of undergraduate degrees by regulatory bodies.
