Universities UK publishes briefing on how to support staff and students experiencing violence and abuse

Universities have been given guidance on how to support staff and students dealing with domestic violence and online abuse during the Covid-19 pandemic.

In its second briefing on the subject, vice-chancellors’ body Universities UK said there had been “significant increases in the levels of domestic and technology-mediated abuse in society”, while the pandemic “has resulted in significant changes to higher education that have impacted the way universities can support those who have experienced domestic abuse”.
