Universities ‘perpetuate institutional racism’ and must prioritise work to tackle racial harassment

Universities UK has called on vice-chancellors to take swift action on racial harassment with a set of recommendations designed to help institutions tackle the problem.

UUK said university leaders should prioritise efforts to stamp out racial harassment, offer anti-racist training for students and staff, and develop better channels for reporting incidents among a list of 12 recommendations published on 24 November.
