Over 100 antisemitic incidents recorded at UK universities

Report reveals annual rise in incidents despite the pandemic

More than 100 antisemitic incidents took place at UK universities over the last two years, a charity has found.

According to a report by the Community Security Trust, which offers security for Jewish organisations and events, 123 incidences of antisemitism took place at British universities between 2018-19 and 2019-20, with 65 in the 2019-20 academic year—in spite of changes to teaching and learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.
