Report looks for sweeping changes to De Montfort board and management structures

De Montfort University’s board and its leadership team have been urged to reset their relationship by an external investigation following a spate of high-profile resignations last year.

DMU asked Advance HE to scrutinise its governance arrangements after former vice-chancellor Dominic Shellard’s departure sparked a string of resignations from the non-executive board in February 2019, and the Office for Students slammed “weaknesses and failings” in the university’s governance.
