Charity gives out £100,000 but expects coronavirus-related delays to individual schemes
Five pilot projects exploring pressing issues in higher education have won a share of £100,000 from the UPP Foundation, despite delays to most projects because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The UPP Foundation, the charitable arm of the student accommodation provider University Partnerships Programme, awarded a total of £100,000 to fund five schemes run by universities and charities. They include the University of Chichester’s project on helping homeless students to access university, and Goldsmiths, University of London’s scheme to work with the public to develop a civic university agreement.
