Union members vote to reject pay offer

Ballot shows 61 per cent opposed to pay and conditions offer

Members of the University and College Union have voted against accepting the latest deal on pay and conditions proposed by employers.

The union had balloted members on whether they were prepared to accept the Universities and Colleges Employers Association’s offer on what the union terms the ‘four fights’ issue of pay, equality, precarity and workload.
