Sector leaders analyse ‘roller coaster’ changes as in-person teaching at UCL pushed back

University experts have offered mixed reactions to the government’s decision to delay on-campus teaching, with students at one London university to be taught exclusively online until late February.

Higher education institutions are preparing to welcome a slimmed-down cohort of students today, after education secretary Gavin Williamson confirmed on 30 December that most students would not be allowed on English campuses before 25 January due to a spike in Covid-19 cases.
