University of Portsmouth incident follows spate of attacks on universities
The University of Portsmouth is the latest higher education institution to be hit by a cyberattack.
A spokesperson for the South-coast institution said that it had been “impacted by a cyber incident that has affected some of our IT systems, which remain offline whilst we work to secure them, contain the issue and allow us to resume normal service”.
