Union’s head Jo Grady calls for unity between workers at major trade union conference
The head of the University and College Union has called on workers from all industries to unite, as her union pushed at a major meeting of trade unions for a three-day weekend and tackling climate change.
“The pandemic has exposed just how rigged the system is against working class people,” Jo Grady (pictured) told a virtual event on the fringes of the Trades Union Congress annual meeting on 12 September.
