Admissions body reveals growth in applications for Oxbridge and medicine courses in 2021

There has been a significant rise in the number of students applying to undergraduate courses by the early Ucas application deadline, the UK university admissions body has said.

Students had to apply by 15 October for courses starting in autumn 2021 at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, and for most medicine, dentistry or veterinary courses at all UK institutions.
