January Ucas deadline pushed back two weeks

Applications body says Covid disruption means extension is necessary

The traditional 15 January Ucas application deadline for people applying to start university this year has been pushed back two weeks as a result of school and college closures across the UK.

The “equal consideration deadline”—the point by which most applications are submitted—has been moved to 6pm on 29 January to allow students, teachers and advisers more time to complete applications and references, following the latest Covid-19 disruption.
