A Universities UK International director calls on universities to use Brexit to push for more help from government
Universities should be thinking about what they can “demand of government” while it is listening because of Brexit, according to one expert.
Jamie Arrowsmith, assistant policy director for Universities UK International, said that while Brexit “will be negative either way” for universities whether a deal is reached or not, institutions should take the opportunity of a changed political atmosphere to tell the government what they need to be most effective after Brexit has taken place.
