Labour appears to be inching towards a plan to replace tuition fees with a graduate tax.
Ed Miliband (pictured), leader of the Labour Party, has said that he wants to make “a radical offer on tuition fees”. Speaking during an appearance on ITV’s "The Agenda" programme last night, Miliband added that “young people feel they have no control because they are going to get into mountains of debt if they go to university.”
Aides told the New Statesman that the promise of a radical offer was “significant” and “worth listening to”.
