Vice-chancellor wants dialogue with government on wider benefits of higher education to students

Universities need to have a “much more grown-up discussion” with government about the diverse benefits of higher education to students, according to the University of the Arts London’s vice-chancellor. 

Nigel Carrington was speaking at an event organised by the Higher Education Policy Institute to coincide with the Office for Students publishing its value for money strategy.
