University leaders ask for more information as Williamson delays 2021 exams

University leaders have demanded more details on how they should cope with a three-week delay to A-level exams in 2021.

In a written statement on 12 October, education secretary Gavin Williamson confirmed that the exams—which determine entrance to universities for many students—would be pushed back by three weeks. Exams in 2021 will therefore begin on 7 June.
