Education leaders call for BTEC funding to stay in qualifications review
Education experts have urged the government not to close off funding for BTEC level 3 qualifications as part of its post-16 qualification review.
On 23 October, education secretary Gavin Williamson confirmed that the government would press ahead with plans to cut funding for some qualifications that “overlap” with A-levels and T-levels, the technical equivalent qualification.
