But university heads call for abandonment of exams next year
A-levels are set to be delayed for three weeks in 2021 following chaos this summer for school leavers, but they will not be cancelled, despite calls from the university sector.
According to the Daily Telegraph newspaper, education secretary Gavin Williamson is expected to push A-level exams back by around three weeks next year. Exams were scrapped this year because of Covid-19.
