“Unacceptable” to use non-disclosure agreements in sexual harassment cases, says minister
Universities minister Michelle Donelan has warned institutions that using non-disclosure agreements in cases of sexual harassment is “wholly inappropriate” and risks tarnishing their reputations.
In a letter to higher education institutions dated 2 July, Donelan said that she had met with leaders of the Everyone’s Invited website, which in April named more than 100 universities where students have alleged sexual harassment.
