Universities must assess risk of student radicalisation.

Universities are legally obliged to take steps to stop their students from being drawn into terrorism, states new Home Office guidance.

The advice is published today as a companion to the counter-terrorism and security act, which was passed into law last month. Universities are cited in the document as one of several bodies that have “due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism”.
