Parliament shutdown blamed for failure to publish detailed Knowledge Exchange Framework implementation plans
A number of announcements relating to the Knowledge Exchange Framework that were due to be published by November—including final metrics and detailed implementation plans—have been delayed because of the general election.
In September, Chris Skidmore, universities and science minister, wrote to David Sweeney, executive chair of Research England, which operates the KEF, endorsing proposals for a “staged roll-out of the KEF later this year”.
