A study by Which? and the Higher Education Policy Institute finds some students are given twice as much guidances as others; and the use of performance indicators in higher education has been questioned.
David Willetts, the universities and science minister, is due to address the annual conference of the Higher Education Policy Institute at 10:40am. The conference on the student experience will hear about large variations in the hours that different institutions expect their students to contibute and that far fewer think they are getting value for money, compared with a previous survey.
