Cabinet minister could support EU exit

Chris Grayling prepares to campaign for Britain to leave the EU.

The leader of the House of Commons has said that EU membership is “disasterous” for the UK and suggested that he would argue in favour of leaving the 28-member union. In a carefully worded article, Mr Grayling writes: “Most people in Westminster know that I hold strong Eurosceptic views. It is time for Britain to vote again on its future in Europe. But I also strongly believe that David Cameron is right to seek new terms for our membership before that vote happens.”
