The Office for Students is choosing its moments to speak, if at all.
This morning’s big news from the Office for Students is the announcement that it has completed its investigation into whistleblowing at De Montfort University. Fiona McIntyre reports on what the OfS and De Montfort have to say about the “significant and systematic” governance failures that surrounded the resignation of vice-chancellor Dominic Shellard in February.
An OfS investigation followed information from an anonymous whistleblower and the university’s own self-reporting to the regulator. However, the OfS has not published a report of its investigation, instigated using its statutory powers.
