Playbook reports from Westminster as the education secretary addresses the Education World Forum
It was with a degree of anticipation that Playbook donned its gratefully received Christmas present scarf and made its way to the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in Westminster yesterday to listen to a speech by Gavin Williamson. It wasn’t Davos, but it was the best offer Playbook was going to get this week.
The education secretary was speaking at the official opening of the Education World Forum—a gathering of more than 130 education ministers from around the world. At least we were pretty sure it was him speaking, though the website for the event still had a picture of his predecessor Damian Hinds prominently displayed.
