Our freedom of information request suggests student complaints are spiralling during the pandemic

If nationwide lockdowns follow the pattern of A-level U-turns, we should all be keeping a wary eye on Wales over the next few days.

On Monday, Wales became the first UK nation to blink and call a two-week “fire-breaker” lockdown to slow the spread of Covid-19, after a growing number of cases in the country pushed the R number—the rate of infection—up to between 1.1 and 1.4.
